Danik gymnastics has earned a reputation for being Idaho's strongest and most consistently high scoring competitive team. We take our program seriously and strive for excellence. Our team is large averaging around 100 girls between Optional, Compulsory and Xcel levels. All of our levels are very successful in competition and continue to work hard and improve! Danik has been home to many past State & Regional champions and has had many represent Idaho in national competitions.
On the competitive side of gymnastics, our Girl's Team is divided into Junior Olympic and Xcel Programs.
XCEL is for gymnasts whose main priority is to have fun while still experiencing the competitive world of gymnastics. XCEL teams are as follows:
XCEL Bronze
XCEL Silver
XCEL Gold
XCEL Platinum
XCEL Diamond
The XCEL levels are part of our competitive Team program, but their practices are shorter and less intense than Junior Olympic Levels. Our XCEL group is extremely talented and very successful.
Junior Olympic levels are the more intense competitive teams.
Compulsory: Level 1 - 5
Optionals: Level 6 - 10
These are the most competitive and advanced gymnasts at our gym. They are extremely dedicated and practice anywhere from 15 hours per week (Level 2) to 24 hours per week (Level 8). They have lots of fun but work very hard and face some of the toughest competition in the nation. Many of these gymnasts are working towards college scholarships or the elite program (those who go to the olympics).

The Danik Boys Team Program has proven very successful, earning dozens of individual and team titles while consistently producing State, Regional, and National champions. Coaches Cort Bramwell and Caleb attribute the team's success to a strong camaraderie among students, commitment and hard work in the gym, and a solid foundation of strength and basic technique. These elements, combined with a state-of-the-art facility, have made the Danik Boys Team one of the strongest in the Northwest.
The Boys Team competes locally and abroad, contending against the top gymnasts in the nation. While team athletes are held to a high standard of effort and performance, coaches strive to create an environment of safety, sportsmanship, strong work ethic, accountability, perseverance, and respect for self and others. The program aims to help each athlete achieve his full potential within the discipline of gymnastics, and acquire valuable life skills that will prove beneficial throughout his life.
